Irish-ism of the Day: as they’re trying to close the pub, just casually saying a few times loud enough for everyone to hear: “I wont be mad if you leave”

Day Two
Stay: Dooley’s in Waterford
Glendalough - wrapped my fingers around St. Kevin’s cross so all my wishes would come true
Clonroche for a delicious lunch at The Cloch Ban

Day Three.
Stay: International Hotel, Killarney
- Tour of Waterford Crystal Factory
- Cobh: learned about Cobh’s relationship to the Titanic and the Lusitania
- Blarney Castle: kissing the Blarney stone for eloquence, meeting the lovely Clare who was on a mission to help us find the Wishing Steps, walking the Wishing Steps for the fulfillment of wishes, beautiful magical waterfall, running (literally) back to the bus because we were late
- Courtneys Pub: met incredible locals that bought us shots of Baby Guinness and we in turn bought them kamikaze shots (have to try each other’s drink!). Tara attempted to teach me unsuccessfully how to do a jig

Day Four.
Stay: 2nd night at International Hotel, Killarney
Shopping at Moriartys
Ring of Kerry:

Shopping in Killarney and Christies and TK Maxx for a last minute dress for Thanksgiving dinner.
Fantastic Thanksgiving dinner arranged by our incredible guides as a special surprise so that we could celebrate with our new extended family and friends. The Failte went above and beyond to make it a memorable evening.
Drinks at The Speakeasy (Our guide’s favorite local bar) and the hotel bar.
Wishing we had more time to explore Killarney. It absolutely has my heart.

Day Five.
Stay: Ardilaun, Galway
Ferry across the river Shannon - saw dolphins in the water
Cliffs of Moher: perhaps one of the most beautiful sites. It is a 5.6 km walk and it was incredibly windy at some points where I thought it a bit dangerous; though, there is a barrier between the walking trail and the cliffs. I would love to come back when there is more time to explore and a bit less windy!

“We had never done a group tour before so had no idea what to expect. This tour far exceeded our expectations. True, it was exhausting. We didn’t want to sleep because there was so much to do and see that we didn’t want to miss out on everything. But as they say, you can sleep when you’re dead (or when you’re not in Ireland). Having never been to Europe before, we appreciated having knowledgeable, local guides who could not only take us to these incredible places that we’d only read and seen photos of, but entertain us with local stories and history. We would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to see a lot, especially in a shorter amount of time. It was a great way to get a general highlights tour of Ireland.”
